CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to all the players and coaches that traveled to Las Vegas to participate in the WASUP 2010 SPRING NATIONAL TOURNAMENT. It was a great experience for our local youth to participate and experience another level of competition on the mainland. Our teams did great and had fun. Mahalo to the coaches, parents and families that attended. Mahalo to Play Sports Hawaii for a wonderful trip.
Congratulations to the U9 teams: Na Kua'ana and 808 Boyz and the U11 teams: Na Hoku, Na Ali'i and Imua. We truly represented Hawai'i, showcasing the talent from the islands.

Play Sports Hawaii All-Stars Visit With Governor Linda Lingle and Lt. Governor Duke Aiona
Aloha Everyone! Today the all-star teams that traveled to Las Vegas this past January were honored by the Governor and the Lt. Governor. It was a wonderful display of recognition for a job well done and a tournament well played. Thank you to the families that participated. Thank you to Governor Linda Lingle and Lt. Governor Duke Aiona for taking the time to show the kids that hard work and dedication is appreciated and pays off. They were very gracious to make our keiki feel special today! Mahalo!!!!

Can't wait for another weekend of FOOTBALL!!!! This Sunday at the field we will be fundraising for the mainland teams to make their trip to Las Vegas. We will be having a fabulous bake sale. New Season....New Adventures
Aloha and Welcome to our brand new season of Play Sports Hawaii Youth Flag Football. The new season opened with some awesome football games, ono food, bake sale and so much fun! Each weekend at the field we will be having a bake sale fundraiser for the mainland tournament. The all-star teams need your help to raise money to travel to Las Vegas to participate and bring the 808 to the 702!!!!! 1) Outback Steakhouse Fundraiser: $15 per ticket that will be redeemable at Outback Hawaii Kai during the month of March. It is good for one of three different choices of entree and a side salad. What a great deal! Awesome food and for a great cause. Email us for more details or stop by the tent at the field on Sunday and we would be glad to give you more info. This Sunday Feb.7th from 8am-4pm at Chevron in Kahala. Please come out and support the kids and have your car washed at the same time. We know you will be watching the big game, but before you head out to your Super Bowl parties, come by and get your car washed! Please spread the word and tell your friends and family. CONGRATULATIONS HAWAII TEAMS!!!!
Congratulations to all the Hawaii teams that participated this weekend in the youth flag football tournament in Las Vegas NEVADA. All four teams were victorious earning both first and second places in the U8 and U12 age groups. The 808 Boyz and Na Ali'i both won first place in the tournament. The Warriors and Imua both placed second. This was the first trip any youth flag football team from Hawaii has made to the mainland.
What a great experience it was. We did so many fun activities like cosmic bowling, going to circus circus adventuredome, riding a limo down the strip, going to the movies and so much more. The boys has a blast and the parents did too. Thank you to Brian and Gaye Kaupiko for organizing such a great event. Thank you to both Brian Kaupiko and Jacob Delaura for making Play Sports Hawaii such a positive organization for the youth of Hawaii. Mahalo to all the families that participated and supported this trip. Mahalo to all those who donated and supported the fundraising efforts. Las Vegas All-Star Trip
This weekend, Saturday and Sunday January 16-17th the all-star teams from Play Sports Hawaii will be participating in a youth flag football tournament in Las Vegas Nevada. We wish them safe travels and good luck. Bring the best of Hawaii and represent the 808 in this national tournament. We know you will do great and have a fun! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year from Play Sports Hawaii! We hope you had a safe and happy holiday. We are looking forward to a bright new year filled with new adventures. Coming up this weekend January 9th-10th, 2010 is the 1st Annual Youth Flag Football Tournament at McKinley. This is going to be a great weekend of football and athleticism.
This past Saturday was another successful car wash. Thank you to all the families that participated in the fundraiser. There were many helping hands and many cars washed! Thank you to Chevron Kahala for allowing us this fundraising opportunity for our keiki. Mahalo to the Faufata-Pedrina `Ohana for helping to coordinate this event and for being there from start to finish. Mahalo to all the friends and families that came out.
Las Vegas Baby! The all-star teams will be leaving for the Las Vegas tournament on January 14th. Good luck to all the teams that are participating. What a great experience this will be for our local youth to venture to the mainland and experience a different level of competition. We wish them safe travels and GO HAWAII!
